Leadership club will have a short meeting today at lunch in the library for a quick meeting.  Please bring any trivia questions that you have made. 

 

Rugby rugby rugby- game at shoreline after school today. Very important- please come see Ms Irving today to confirm whether you are coming or not even if you don’t need a ride

 

Ultimate Practice today after school on the back library field. Our first games are tomorrow so it is important that all players attend to confirm rides. There are still some players that have not submitted their forms. Come see Mr. Leblond in the art room if you have them in your desk or bag.

 

Our first Mountain Bike Club ride is this Thursday. Be sure to talk to your parents about rides as we still don’t have enough drivers.

 

Are you in grade 7 or 8 and interested in joining the yearbook club? Come to a brief meeting at nut break in Ms. Schuring’s room (120) to learn what yearbook club is all about and pick up an information sheet.  Regular yearbook club meetings will be held on Tuesdays after school starting in October.  

 

Next week Colquitz will be having an assembly for Orange Shirt Day on Monday morning. Each day your advisory class will be given a discussion prompt to prepare you for the assembly. Today we are asking “What evidence do you see of Colquitz participating in Reconciliation?”. 

 

-x-country run today at lunch since we missed yesterday, as well as Wednesday at lunch 12:05.  New runners are always welcome.  Our first race is at Lambrick Rec Centre this Thursday after school.  Sign up on the board if you are attending.  Place a check beside your name if you need a ride to the Meet.  Be sure to bring your pink forms in.  If you have filled in a pink form for ultimate or rugby already, let the coaches know.

Lahal starts again today at lunch recess in the red pod hallway. Come join us – experience not needed. We have three new lahal drum songs to listen to as well.
