This Saturday is National Coming Out Day. The Rainbow Club will celebrate the rich diversity of our community and everyone’s right to be themselves with a Rainbow Parade and Dance Party on Thursday at lunch recess. All are welcome, dress in rainbow or bright colours!
Grade 6’s who are interested in playing basketball: Colquitz will be running an intramural program and will begin next week. Please stay tuned for announcements.
Last year, we created a student group called the “Culture Club” to organize ways to recognize and celebrate all of the different cultures in our school, especially during special days and months. If you’re interested in helping with Women’s History Month, Islamic Heritage Month or Latin Canadian and Hispanic Heritage Month, as well as Diwali on October 20th, please come to the Home Ec Room at lunch TOMORROW (Oct 8th) to help!
