-Congratulations to the grade 6/7 girls comp team who won their game yesterday at Royal Oak.
-Great job grade 6 girls rec team who played at home yesterday. We loved the 3pt attempts!
-Shout out to Isla, Gurnet, Cami, Maliyah and Tibi for scorekeeping last night. We can’t do these games without you!
-Scorekeepers today are: Bri, Alli, Gurneet, Evvie and Gracie. You will be done by 5:15 approximately. Some scorekeepers are just not showing up without letting me know. That leaves us scrambling at the last minute. If you cannot make it, please let Mrs. C know in the morning.
-Scorekeepers for tomorrow’s grade 6 boys comp game are: Cami, Gurneet, Alli, and Evvie. You will be done at 5:15 approximately.
-Grade ⅞ Comp. and Rec. Boys Basketball practice tomorrow morning at 7am.
-Grade 7/8 Rec Girls Basketball mandatory meeting today at Nutrition Break in Room 112. We will be organizing for our first game this afternoon at PCS.
– There will not be a practice for gr 6/7 comp girls Friday morning. Patrick thinks that would be too cruel after Halloween!

Lead the change is collecting food bank items on Halloween night. Staff and students- If you want to help out people in need in your community, please consider bringing non-perishable food items to the boxes in front of the library this week.
The Colquitz Rainbow club will meet today at lunch in the Library
Halloween costume contest on Thursday. There will be prizes for scariest costume, funniest costume, best group costume from 3 to 7, best homemade costume, and best prop (no weapons).Student will be called to the round about after the eating time at 12:12 to participate in the costume parade.
Pajama day Friday
Advisory classes: Please place your decorated pumpkin on the stairs in the foyer. Pumpkins will be displayed on Wednesday and Thursday and will need to be collected and taken home on Thursday afternoon.
The yearbook cover design contest is open for ONE more week. If you would like to submit a cover design, please ensure that your design is completed by November 4th. Please check the posters around the school for contest requirements. If you have already submitted a cover design, can you please come to Ms. Schuring’s room at nutrition break. There are still two with no names attached to them.
