Pumpkins will be delivered to classrooms today for the Great Colquitz Pumpkin Display!  Information was put in advisory teachers mailboxes a couple of weeks ago. Please remember that this is a CARVELESS pumpkin display.  You may attach items to the pumpkins but please do not cut into them. 

 

Can all Lead the Change Members please meet in the foyer at nutrition break to deliver pumpkins. 

 

Lead the Change club will be holding a costume contest on Thursday October 31st.  There will be prizes for the scariest costume, funniest costume, best prop, best homemade costume and best group of 3-7 people.  

Reminder: Please do not bring any props that are weapons to school. 

 

On Halloween night, lead the change club is collecting food bank donations. If you would like to participate, drop off non-perishable food items in front of the library on November 1st, or see Ms Irving for more information on the campaign.

 

Mountain bike club today after school. Meet outside of the art room with your bikes to confirm rides before leaving for Hartland.

 

The following Ultimate team players have not returned their jerseys: Peyton Kirby, Easton Fairall and Hugo Winterholt. Please return your jersey to Mr. Leblond as soon as possible.

 

Garden club tomorrow at lunch. Meet Mr. Leblond in the Art Room before heading to the garden.

 

Photo retakes are tomorrow.  If you have not had a photo taken or would like a new photo please make sure you are here tomorrow.  Even if your family does not plan on ordering photos, your image is still needed for the yearbook.  

 

X-country final run at lunch today!  Meet at the sign right after the bell.  We will try to leave 2 min earlier.  If you are unable to make the run due to other commitments, it was a pleasure to have ran with you!

 

Gr 6 boys basketball practice tomorrow morning 7:30

 

Good luck to the gr ⅞ boys basketball team who have their first game at home today!  Scorekeepers- please head to the gym right after the dismissal bell to help set up.

If you are staying to watch the game, please do not enter the gym until after 3:30 to allow set up and warm up.

 

Girls 6/7 comp basketball team has an away game at Central tomorrow, not Monterey as it says on your schedule.  Repeat- your game is at Central tomorrow. 

Please come to the gym to sign out your jersey today at nutrition break.  This will be the only time to get it.

Today is the province wide Drop Everything and Read day or D.E.A.R day! Colquitz does an amazing job of ‘dropping everything and reading’ everyday with our silent reading program! Way to go Colquitz!
