Pizza, pizza, pizza – Advisory teachers, please make sure your students know who has ordered. A list was emailed out by Cass this week. Students, please be ready at your classroom door with a paper towel in hand in alphabetical order and wait for a runner to take you to the pizza serving tables. Students who have a lunch time activity can go straight to their table when the bell goes. Students in divisions 1-14, will go to the foyer and students in divisions 15-23 will go to the blue pod table.
This is a reminder to all students of our cell phone policy at school. NO ONE should have their cell phone in their pockets or on their person at any time. No purses or bags are allowed in washrooms without direct permission from staff. All phones should be left in classrooms in bags or lockers. If you are seen with a phone, even if you’re not using it, it will be taken away until the end of the day. Because phones should not be in use, this also means that there should be NO PHOTOS OR VIDEOS taken of anyone at school, and especially not without consent from the people being photographed. If you are found to have photos or videos taken at school, including posting them online, you will need to hand in your phone every morning to the office and pick it up at the end of the day.
Congratulations to the Colquitz Ultimate Frisbee team on their excellent play yesterday at the jamboree hosted by Central Middle School. The team showed lots of improvement and played well as a team. The team lost their first two games in hard fought matches but won their third game against St. Patrick’s. There is no lunch practice today. Practices will resume on Tuesday after school.
Mountain Bike Club rides again today after school. We will meet outside of the art room immediately after the dismissal bell to confirm rides before leaving for the ride. Dress for the weather.
Good luck to the x-country team racing today at Beaver Lake. Make sure you have signed up on the athletic board and indicated if you need a ride. If you need a ride, meet in the lobby at the dismissal bell.
Today is the last basketball reffing clinic being held at Lansdowne 4:15. If you had planned on attending, make sure you have seen Mrs C in room 129 as you have to be signed up. If you are desperate for a ride there, Mrs C will take you but you will need to arrange your own ride home.
