If you brought non perishable food items to donate to our We Scare Hunger campaign, please bring them to the boxes in front of the library. Thank you for helping out those in need in your community!

Basketball News:

-The boys 6 comp team played their hearts out yesterday ending with an exciting play by Harry, resulting in a basket in the last second.  

-There is a meeting at NB today for students interested and able to score keep on Monday and Tuesday next week.  Please come to room 129.  You will need to stay here until 5:15pm as they are both comp games.

-Boys 6 comp you have a practice after school today until 4:00pm

 

Thank you to all the divisions who decorated and displayed their class pumpkin in the foyer. Advisory teachers, please collect your pumpkin today so they don’t rot in the foyer.  

 

All students interested in participating in the Battle of the Books please come to the Library during Lunch Recess today!

Indigenous Student Lunch – TODAY in the Home Ec Room. Those students with Indigenous ancestry are welcome to join us for a pizza lunch in the Home Ec Room (NOT the library), starting at 11:57 TODAY.

IT IS TUESDAY TRIVIA ANSWER TIME! Here were this week’s questions and their answers.

The Student Question was: Who has the most points in NBA history?

Answer: LeBron James who has 40,554 points which is almost 2,000 more than the person in 2nd place.

Winners: Leo in Div.12, Aditya in Div.18 and Nathaniel in Div.23

The Staff Question was: Who has the most blocked shots in NBA history?

Answer: Hakeem Olajuwon who blocked 3,830 shots which is almost 600 more than the person in 2nd place.

Winner: Mr. I – Our EA who is also a Trivia Guru!
