Imagine walking 6 kilometers every day just to get water — and not even clean water. For millions of people, that’s reality. We’re inviting YOU to take part in our Water Walk event to raise awareness and build empathy for communities without easy access to safe drinking water. Let’s walk in their shoes and learn how we can make a difference!

Track and Field
Good luck to all the relay, discus and 2000m athletes going to the meet today! Make sure to fill your water bottle as it will be a hot one. If you don’t have a jersey, see Mrs C at NB. Grade 7 and grade relay teams also need to check in with Mrs C or Mrs Harvie today at lunch, right at 12:00 to confirm all their team members are at school. Please show up as a team. We will be on the track field but on the side by the library to stay away from discus throwers. Discus practice at lunch today as well. You can practice longjump or triple on your own today. Remember to get that height!
Marigold Elementary is holding their spring fair on Friday June 6th and is looking for grade 7 and 8 volunteers to help run stations like sparkle tattoos, inflatables, a button maker and concession. This is a great opportunity to add to a resume or to a program application. If you are interested in volunteering your time at the Marigold Spring Fair, please see Ms. Schuring for a permission form! If you have already taken a permission form, please return it to Ms. Schuring by Friday. We still need to fill many more spots. Please consider volunteering for this great community event.
