Pizza Lunch today. Please line up in your classrooms in order with a paper towel. Someone will come and lead your class to the pizza serving tables. If you have an activity at lunch please go directly to the serving tables as soon as the lunch bell rings. Happy Pizza day!
Volleyball News:
- Irvings grade ⅞ girls volleyball team played some great games in north saanich yesterday! There was great teamwork and encouragement out there! There is no practice today at lunch. But there will be a practice Tuesday at 7Am
- Good luck to the boys 6/7 rec team who play at home today. Come out and cheer them on! Scorekeepers are: Maria, Ali, Augustin, Shahiba, Saraya, Jordyn, Hannah and Emily. We could always use two more to help at the table. You know how busy triple ball is.
- Congratulations to the ⅞ girls comp team who won their first two sets. A special shout out to Myra and her crazy save!
- Mr.Browns Grade ⅞ team played some great team volleyball! Great wins girls! No practice on Monday due to family day.
Thank you to all students who voted in the Guess How Many Candies Contest. All ballots submitted by students and containing only one guess were counted. After reviewing all the ballots, we have two winners! One winner’s guess was 17 over the actual vote and the other was 17 less. The actual number of candies in the jar was 829. The winners were Regan from Division 15 with a guess of 812 and Maliyah in Division 5 with a vote of 846. Congratulations to div 15 and div 5! Can the two winners please come to the office after the announcements to collect your prize!
Students who have been attending the Black History Month meetings and who would like to help with the assembly on Feb. 21st, please meet Ms.Elford in the office at the start of lunch recess.
