Yes, the fields are open again.
This is a reminder that you may only go to half-way down the SIDE FIELD and
NO ONE IS ALLOWED BESIDE OR IN THE BACK GRAVEL PARKING LOT. You are expected to be several feet away.
NO ONE is allowed at the back or side fences by houses anymore. You must be at the bottom of the hill. Unfortunately, people are not being respectful of our neighbours. You must stay away and listen to supervisors who ask you to move. If you do not, you will be in the office.

Congratulations to the grade 7 badminton players on their excellent play yesterday at the city tournament at St Michaeals. Special shout out to Alonso and Omie who made it to the consolation finals for boys doubles and Kayleigh who also made it to the consolation finals. All the grade 7 players who represented Colquitz should be proud of their performance.
Good luck to the grade 8 competitive badminton players who will be playing in the city tournament at St Michaels today. There will be a brief meeting in the Art room at morning recess for the grade 8 competitive players to confirm rides.

Today is the final day for Kids Run Toonie Drive. A huge thank you to all that have contributed, whether it was $2 or $50! This will help a child who is battling cancer and their family more than you know.
Be sure to tell your parents about our bake sale happening during Student Led Conferences today. All baked goods were made by our amazing Colquitz staff and all proceeds will go to the Kids Run. Staff: Please setup your baked goods on the tables in front of the office after students go home today (before student leds begin)
Track and Field News:
Discus practice on the back field today with Mr. Arnott. There is only 1 week until the first track meet. Come out and perfect your throws and make sure you can meet the minimum standards. Newbies are always welcome!
– Highjump in the gym at lunch today with Mrs C for anyone who is jumping more than 125cm
-There is no open practice today after school due to early dismissal for Student Led Conferences.
–Shotput practice at lunch tomorrow with Mrs C outside the gym doors.
-Be sure to sign up if you are competing in an event next week on the athletic board. You must show that you have made the minimum standard
