Attention all students:  

Yes, the fields are open again.  

This is a reminder that you may only go to half-way down the SIDE FIELD and 

NO ONE IS ALLOWED BESIDE OR IN THE BACK GRAVEL PARKING LOT.  You are expected to be several feet away.

NO ONE is allowed at the back or side fences by houses anymoreYou must be at the bottom of the hill.  Unfortunately, people are not being respectful of our neighbours.  You must stay away and listen to supervisors who ask you to move.  If you do not follow these expectations, you will be in the office at breaks.  Thank you.

Yearbook meeting today after school in Ms. Schuring’s room.

Grade ⅞ Girls Field Hockey we will have a practice at lunchtime today in the gym. Please come to the gym at the first bell. 

Congratulations to the grade 6 badminton players on their excellent play yesterday at the city tournament at St Michaeals. Special shout out to Lauren Garcia in div 6 who won girls singles consultation division, Davik Gupta who also made it to the consultation finals, as well as Lucy and Elise in div 7 who were eliminated in the girls doubles championship qualifier. All the grade 6 players who represented Colquitz should be proud of their performance. 

Good luck to the grade 7 competitive badminton players who will be playing in the city tournament at St Michaels today. There will be a brief meeting in the Art room at morning recess for the grade 7 competitive players to confirm rides.

Intramural badminton today with Mr. Arnott at 12:12 in the gym. Everyone is welcome as long as they have appropriate footwear, help set up and take down the nets! We will be playing doubles using a rotation system due to the large number of people.

Track and Field News:

-sign up for next weeks events on the athletic board.  Please make sure you have met the minimum standards.  Those sheets are outside Mrs C’s room 129

-There is an extra run practice at NB today on the track with Mrs C.  We will focus on the 200 m and  800m as those are the events next week.  If you are running the 2000 m, you should do a practice run at lunch.  The track is there for you to practice.
