There is a meeting for competitive badminton players at morning recess in the art room. All players must attend to discuss rides for the grade 6, 7 and 8 tournaments this week.
Good luck to the grade 6 competitive badminton players who will be playing in the city tournament at St Michaels today.
Congratulations Colquitz!!!!! Our totals for the Kids Run for each grade is: gr 6: $416.55 Gr 7: $238.8 Gr 8: $571! Woo Woo!!!!!! We have three more days for our last push! We can do it!

Track and Field News:
-Practice in the gym today at lunch after eating time for beginner high jumpers who are jumping lower than 125 cm. Run practice is out on the track today at 12:12 as well. Be sure to be wearing proper footwear.
-Because there is no open practice on Wednesday due to Student Led conferences, make sure you are attending the lunchtime practices.
-Our first Meet at UVic is next week, May 7th.: The events are: 200m, 800m and 2000m, long jump for girls in all grades, high jump for gr 6/7 boys, discus for boys all grades and shot put for gr 6 girls. Make sure you get your slip signed by a coach that you can meet the minimum standards for that event. Slips are outside Mrs C’s classroom.
