Track and Field News:
-We would love to see all the students who showed up for the track and field photo come out to practice. Remember, you cannot go to the UVic Meets unless you demonstrate that you have met a minimum standard for your grade.
-Today’s practices are HJ in the gym with Mrs C after eating time, running (sprints and middle distance, and long jump practice on the library field-also after eating time. Look for Ms Albach and Mrs Harvie and .
Are you a grade 7 or 8 student who is interested in volunteering your time at the Kids Run on the morning of May 3rd? This is a great task to add to a resume or just help your community. If you are interested, please get a permission form from Ms. Schuring at nutrition break.
-Speaking of Kids Run, don’t forget to register for the walk/run. Bring out your friends and family. It is a glorious event.
-And the totals are climbing for our toonie drive. A huge shout out to div 15 for top contributors at this point, with division 4 close behind. Drumroll: To date: Grade 6 has brought in $304. Grade 7 has brought in $157 and grade 8’s have brought in $271. Way to go grade 6’ s!!!! There is still time grade 7 and 8’s! We can do it Colquitz!!!!!!
