April 19

Do you like popcorn? Good news – band and choir are selling popcorn! Bring your money on TUESDAY to buy Kernals popcorn at lunch. Bags are $3 each. Choose from buttersalt, salt and vinegar, dill pickle, caramel, white cheddar and kettle corn. ONLY STUDENTS PURCHASING POPCORN WILL BE ALLOWED INSIDE, and you must exit to go back to supervised areas outside as soon as you’re done. Thanks, and see you Tuesday!!!

Just a reminder to all students: Please avoid coming to get ice because you are “hot.” We realize the weather is getting warmer and you might get hot while doing activities outside. But we want to have ice on hand for injuries.

  • Mrs C is away at lunch today but if 6/7’s want to practice long jump on their own-feel free!  You know the warm up and standards.
  • Open high jump practice at lunch for all grades. Most grade 8’s will be away, however.  Unless you can squeeze a jump in before your bus leaves!   Meet in the gym at lunch 12:00

Blue Pod will be selling candy bags at nutrition break next Tuesday for $2.  There are only 70 candy bags left to sell.  All proceeds will be donated to The Kids Run on May 5th. This money will help children on Vancouver Island who are battling cancer.

Green Pod will be selling cookies and Rice Krispie squares on Wednesday, April 24th at recess to raise money for The Kids Run on May 5th. Cookies will cost $1 each.
