Pizza Pizza Pizza

Pizza Lunch today. Please line up in your classrooms in order with a paper towel. Someone will come and lead your class to the pizza serving tables. If you have an activity at lunch please go directly to the serving tables as soon as the lunch bell rings. Happy Pizza Day!

 

Attention Grade 8 volleyball players who are playing in the staff vs. student volleyball game. The game has to be moved to Tuesday April 23 at lunch instead due to pizza lunch today. Please let Ms. Irving know if you are no longer able to play.

 

Big shout out to the Colquitz badminton players on their excellent play last night against Selkirk Montessori. There will be badminton practice today at lunch eating time. Make sure to eat, and come to the gym as soon as possible as we will begin elimination matches to choose players for the city finals.

 

Amber Pod Bottle Drive!

There’s still time to bring in your recyclables to raise funds for the Kids Run! We ask that you please bring refundables rinsed out/in bags and place any glass in a separate bag. All other refundables can be mixed! Please bring to Room 106! Tomorrow will be the last day to bring in bottles. 

 

We are looking forward to seeing all of the fun socks tomorrow for silly sock day! 

 

Rugby practice today at lunch and ⅞ game today after school. ⅞ Boys please meet by the front door at the dismissal bell.  

 

The Colquitz Rainbow Club will meet today at lunch in the Library!

 

Yearbooks are on sale!  Make sure to get yours before it is too late!  Check the information posted around the school or ask your parents to check the weekly newsletter email. 

 

Advisory teachers, if you have not already done so, can you please let your students know if they have ordered a yearbook and return your photo proofs to Ms. Schuring’s mailbox. 

 

There is a yearbook club meeting today after school for anyone who can make it.  There is NO YEARBOOK CLUB tomorrow afterschool.  

 

Spectrum Football

Calling all current Grade 8 students who will be attending Spectrum in September. The Football Team is back and ready to get going! No experience necessary. This is a great way to start your secondary school journey on the right foot. There is no better way to start a new school all dressed in black, orange, and white and on the football field representing your Spectrum Thunder.

Anyone interested is encouraged to find the sign-up sheet in the office and put your name down. We will be starting next month to get ready for the season in September. Fall camp starts August 19th.
