Pizza Pizza Pizza

Pizza Lunch today. Please line up in your classrooms in order with a paper towel. Someone will come and lead your class to the pizza serving tables. If you have an activity at lunch please go directly to the serving tables as soon as the lunch bell rings. Happy Pizza Day!

 

The Colquitz Rainbow Club will meet today at lunch in the Library

 

Rugby rugby rugby- practice today at lunch and afterschool until 4pm. Meet on the library field 

 

Volleyball news- 

  • any grade 8 volleyball players that are interested in playing in a staff vs student volleyball game, please come to Ms. Irving’s room- 106- at nut break.  
  • Grade 6 and 7 girls-Kiet is opening practices up Friday am 7:00 to you.  This will not be drop-in and will need your commitment every Friday as this will be a development camp.  If you are interested, arrive for 7:00 tomorrow morning.  If you cannot make tomorrow but are interested for next week, let Mrs. C know and she will pass that along to Kiet.  This is open to 7’s playing on other teams as well.  
  • Maria, Poppy, Chanelle, Angelina and Ali still have to bring their jerseys in- unless you like to hear your name on the announcements every day…..

 

Track and Field Fun:

  • There will be an open practice today after school until 4:00.  Come out and try out some field or track sports.  You do not have to stay until 4:00.  You can stay for 15 min if you like!  Make sure you are wearing proper footwear
  • There will be a High Jump practice for all GRADE 8 students TOMORROW at lunch in the gym starting at 12:00. Please bring appropriate footwear and clothing. This practice is for competitors only, not spectators.
  • Friday there is a long jump practice for 6/7’s starting at 12:00

 

Congrats to all Colquitz badminton players on their excellent play and great sportsmanship yesterday in their games against Cedar Hill and St. Josephs. There is a practice today at lunch starting at eating time and continuing through silent reading time. Be sure to eat before coming to the gym as there is no food in the gym. Please remember to hand in your pink forms to Mr. Leblond if you haven’t done so already.

 

Amber Pod Bottle Drive!:

Please help us raise funds for the Kids Run on May 5th. From now until Friday, April 19th Amber Pod would like your refundable bottles! We ask that you please bring washed/rinsed refundables in bags and place any glass in a separate bag. All other refundables can be mixed! Please bring to Room 106! April 19th will be the last day to bring in bottles.
