Congratulations to the Colquitz badminton team on their excellent play yesterday against St. Joseph’s. Badminton practice today after school from 3-4:30.
Track and Field Fun
-We had a great turn out at our open practice yesterday after school. Thanks for coming out!
–The first meets events on May 8th are 200m, 800m and 2000m, long jump for girls, highjump for 6/7 boys, discus for all boys and shotput for all girls. If you are interested in competing in these events, make sure you have been to practice and that you can meet the standards.
-if you have not gotten your information sheets yet, they are on the athletic board.
-today’s practice is highjump in the gym. Make sure you come right at the lunch bell. Proper shoes are required.
-Kiets’ team practices tomorrow am.
-Lots and lots of jerseys have not been returned. Please please get them to Mrs. C asap.

Attention students: A reminder that ALL STUDENTS must STAY OUTSIDE until the bell in the mornings. In addition to this, we have noticed that many of you try to sneak into the school while we are drumming on Thursday mornings. From now on, NO STUDENTS are allowed to enter by the front doors while we are drumming. You may get toast by the door by the basketball court as usual, and exit by that door.
Also, we have noticed a lot of strong scents in the school lately that are likely perfumes, colognes or body sprays. No one is allowed to wear these TO SCHOOL or apply them at school. Please leave these scents at home, as some people in our building are very allergic.
Robotics team meets today in the library at 12 pm.
Next Thursday is NEON DAY! Check your closet for some bright colours and wear them next week!
Pizza, pizza, pizza – Advisory teachers, please let your students know who has ordered. A list was emailed out yesterday by Ms Cass. Students, please be ready at your classroom door with a paper towel in hand in alphabetical order and wait for a runner to take you to the pizza serving tables. Students in divisions 1-14, will go to the foyer and students in divisions 15-23 will go to the blue pod table. Students who have a lunch time activity can go straight to their table when the bell rings.
