Go Canada, Go! To show our support for the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic athletes, we will be having an impromptu Spirit Day on Friday. Dress in red and white and all things Canadian to show support for our athletes going into the final weekend of the 2026 Winter Olympic Games!
Canada is now in 11th place with 3 Gold Medals, 4 Silver Medals and 5 Bronze Medals.
For students who are fasting for Ramadan, you can go to the Library at lunch eating if you prefer 🙂

Volleyball news:
-Grade 6 girls, no practice today. Team yellow and green play the boys grade 6 team Friday at 12. Turquoise if you didn’t play last week, come play this week. If any grade 7 or 8s can come help scorekeep and line, that would be great! See Ms Irving
-Come out right after school and cheer on both of our 7/8 girls comp volleyball teams as they hit the court for an exciting showdown! Not only will they be facing off against each other (which makes cheering extra fun and easy), but they’ll also be taking on both Bayside teams. That means nonstop rallies, big serves, diving saves, and powerful spikes! Let’s pack the gym, bring the energy, and make some serious noise!
-A huge shoutout to our scorekeepers for tonight’s matches: Max, Easton, Soren, Landon, and Nolan — thanks for stepping up! We could still use a couple more helpers at the scorer’s table. If you’re interested, please sign up on the sheet outside Mrs. C’s room and be part of the action.
-There will be a quick sale of remaining 20 cans of pop Thursday at lunch again. We will run out quickly so get in line as soon as you get your pizza. Proceeds going towards volleyball tournament fees.
-This Saturday is a volleyball camp opportunity held at Glanford Middle School. Please see the athletic board for more information. If you are playing in the Spectrum Tournament, however, do not sign up for the camp!
