Attention all Grade 8 students who love pickleball. Today in the gym at lunch Mr. Brown and Mr. Arnott will open up the gym to grade 8 students only for pickleball. To review: Pickleball. Gr. 8 Students only. In the Gym. At lunch.

This is a reminder to students to be respectful of the school garden. It is a space to be enjoyed by the school community, including humans, birds, and insects. Students and staff have worked hard over the years to make this a beautiful space for everyone to enjoy. The garden provides something aesthetic to appreciate as well as nutritious food. By picking the flowers you are limiting the food for pollinators, by breaking branches off of the trees you are causing injuries to the trees that can introduce diseases and insects that can kill the trees. By picking fruit that isn’t ripe and throwing it at your classmates, you are wasting unripe fruit that could be eaten later in the season when it is sweet and delicious. Students have also worked very hard to create signs to show their appreciation for the garden and the beautiful planet we live on. Let’s continue to try to make the world a little bit better everyday by being your best selves rather than destroying things that others have contributed time, energy and money to make Colquitz more beautiful for everyone.

Yearbook Club Members – Please return your Celebration Party invitation to Ms. Schuring
