Rugby rugby rugby- the ⅞ team played some amazing games at SMUS on Friday! There were a lot of great tackles and great teamwork! Thanks for a great season everyone!
Track and Field News:
–Good luck to all of the athletes competing today at UVic. If you have not signed up on the board for your event (last name included) you will not have a name sticker made for you. Please sign up right after these announcements if you have not already done so. Make sure that if you need a ride, you have checked beside your name and meet Mr Brown and Mrs C in the foyer after school. And lastly, dress warmly. It will be a little wet and chilly today.
-Events today are the 1200m, 300m, long jump boys all grades, highjump for gr 8 girls and boys, discus girls all grades and shot put boys all grades. You will find us at the end of the covered bleachers as soon as you walk in.
-practice at lunch today for highjump, especially for grade 8’s competing today.
Leadership meets today at 12.12 in Ms. Schuring’s room.
Volunteer Opportunity for Grade 8 Students:
Marigold Elementary is looking for grade 8 student volunteers to help run inflatables and apply sparkle tattoos during their spring fair on Friday, June 5th. If you are interested in volunteering your time on the evening of June 5th and you are NOT involved in the musical, please see Ms. Schuring for a permission form.
If you have already taken a form, please return it ASAP. Jobs will be given on a first come first serve basis.

The library is closed blocks 1 and 2 and at nut break for set up and lunch and silent reading and block 5 for the reception. The library will be open Block 6 until the end of the day for drop in book exchange.
