volleyball news:
-The ⅞ boys went toe-to-toe last night in a thrilling, point-for-point battle! Coverage was stellar. Despite the grit and determination, Royal Oak just edged them out in the end. No time to dwell—there’s a lunchtime self-run practice TODAY, supervised by Mrs C. Hustle to the gym as fast as you can and let’s get back to work!
Girls grade 6 volleyball plays here at Colquitz afterschool- come cheer them on!. Team yellow and green! If you can’t make the game anymore, please let ms. Irving in room 106 know. There will also be a practice for all teams grade 6 girls tomorrow afterschool and Friday at lunch.
-Scorekeepers today are:Janina, Alexa, Travis, Madi, and Grace. Those were the first five to sign up. If you cannot scorekeep after all, please please let Mrs C know.
-There will be a gr ⅞ girls comp practice Thusday morning with Mark. If you are in grade 8 and coming to school or grade 7- you should be attending.
Rainbow Club – field trip forms are due tomorrow at the latest!
We will be meeting today at lunch recess in the red pod hallway to play lahal and practice the lahal drum songs. The district Lahal tournament is coming up in February, so this is a great chance to practice or learn how to play. Everyone is welcome—come join us! If you would like to participate in the tournament, you must come to practice today.

Reminder to all students who are taking fruit and snacks from the office to please put their trash in the garbage. Decorating the school grounds in orange peels may seem pretty but it’s not fun cleaning it up!
