Colquitz Coho, there are still spots available on the Colquitz Swim Team. Swimming runs Friday afternoons at Commonwealth pool and starts November 7th. If you are interested, please see Ms.Steffens in Rm 111 at nutrition Break for more information and forms
Mountain Bike Club rides again Thursday after school. Make sure you are ready for the changing conditions with appropriate clothing for the cool, wet weather. Also, please speak to your parents to confirm rides. Speak to Mr. Leblond, Ms Spies or Ms. Dixon if you are in need of a ride this week or have any questions about the club.
Thanks again to all of the ultimate players who came out to play this season. It was a short season but Mr Leblond was impressed by how you all came together as a team so quickly and how much your playing improved in just six games. Be sure to hand in your jerseys if you haven’t already done so as they are needed for other teams.

Students interested in helping with the School House Book Fair, please see Ms. Patten in the library at nut break to sign up for shifts. If the shift is during the school day you MUST get permission from your teacher before signing up. And the Book Fair opens one week from today: wahoo!
All students interested in being a part of this year’s Battle of the Books team, please meet Ms. Patten in the library at lunch recess. She will come on the PA to remind you as well. If you are in a Jazz band, don’t worry, you can still be a part of the team, practices won’t always be on Tuesdays!
A reminder to all students at Colquitz, the library is open for drop in book exchange in blocks 1, 3 and 4 and from 2:30 onwards today, there is no excuse not to have an awesome book to read! The library will be closed for circulation next week, which means your class will not be coming in for book exchange as the School House Book Fair is running. Please make sure you have enough books to last until Monday 27th!
The community actions treat sale is happening this week on Tuesday and Thursday in the main foyer during nutrition break! We will be selling all the best treats you could imagine for the prices of 50 cents to 3 dollars with all foods being nut free. Use your sweet tooth on sweet deals 🙂
