Student Self-Care: Pearkes will be in the gym at lunch recess to offer Yoga to any student who would like to join in.  

 

Yearbook Club – There is an extra meeting this Thursday after school and next Thursday and Friday after school to put the finishing touches on the yearbook.  Please come to as many sessions as you can.

Due to transition day, there will be no high jump practice on Thursday.  Instead, there will be a replacement practice on Wednesday at lunch. 

 

Mountain Bike Club ride today after School. Meet outside of the art room to confirm rides before leaving with parents.

It’s Rainbow Week!  Rainbow Week is a special time to celebrate all kinds of people and how they are different and unique, just like the colors in a rainbow, most especially the 2SLGBTQI+ community ! It’s a chance to show that it’s okay to be yourself and to accept others for who they are. It’s also a time to learn about different cultures and identities. This week, everyone is encouraged to wear different colors each day to symbolize the rainbow.

 

Track and Field Practice at lunch today is discus and shotput as well as long jump and triple jump.

Sign up for Thursdays events are on the athletic board.  This week the events are:

100m

Relay practice.  This is not an official timed event but your team can practice.

Triple jump boys and girls all grades

High jump girls grade 6 and 7

Please make sure you sign up quickly so name tags can be made ahead of time. As well, if you are competing this week and need a jersey, see Mrs C before Thursday.

 

Girls 6/7 volleyball practice with Kiet tomorrow morning at 7:00 until 8:00. A reminder that you have to go outside after that.
