April 28

It is ELECTION DAY today, and our gym is being used as a polling station (where people come vote!)  This means that students need to stay away from the gym and Exploratory Wing in general unless you have a reason to be there, such as lunch program or Music classes.  STUDENTS CANNOT USE THE BASKETBALL COURT ENTRANCE AT BREAKS ALL DAY.  Use the main doors instead if you are a grade 8 that usually enters by those doors.  Thanks!  We’d also appreciate your keeping the area by those door clear at breaks to allow for voters to exit and leave more easily.

There is an important meeting today for all badminton players attending this week’s city finals. Please meet in the Art Room during morning nutrition break. Grade 6 players participating in the city finals will be dismissed early today at 1:30 to meet Mr. Leblond by the office before leaving for the tournament at Saint Michaels. Grade 6 teachers, please see the email from Friday with the names of participating students.

Attention all current grade 8 students who will be attending Spectrum in September. Did you know that Spectrum has a Junior Varsity football team? The season runs from August 15 until December. You don’t need any experience, and it is a great way to feel connected to a brand-new school immediately.
