Thank you to everyone who donated to Lead the Change’s We Scare Hunger campaign. We collected over 230 non perishable food items to donate to Burnside Gorge Community centre. Great work! 

 

If you are a member of lead the Change Club, please come to Ms. Schuring’s room for a very quick meeting and a treat at nutrition break.  

 

Thank you to all the students who submitted a yearbook cover design.  Yearbook club will be putting together to contest details and classes will be able to vote next week. 

 

Basketball News:

-Congratulations to the comp 6/7 girls who won their game handedly yesterday.  You made a full offensive play which was exciting to watch.  Thank you once again to the scorekeepers who not only do a remarkable job at the table but set up and take down the gym every game.  

-Grade ⅞ Boys Comp. Team you have a game at Brooks Westshore today after school. Goodluck!  Make sure your rides are in order..

-Grade ⅞ Boys Comp. team you will have a shoot around at lunchtime with Mr. Cormier

-Grade ⅞ Boys BOTH Comp. and Rec you have a practice tomorrow at 7am.

-gr 6 boys-make sure you get your pink forms to Mrs. C today.  Your coach needs them for your away game tomorrow.

-There is a meeting Thursday at NB in room 129  for anyone interested in scorekeeping next week. Our home games next week are Tuesday and Wednesday.  Tuesday is a short day, done at 5:00 and Wednesday will be until 5:45 as it is a jamboree.  New scorekeepers are welcome. Don’t forget that if you are applying for programs next year such as athletic leadership, you need to do some volunteer time in our school.

A reminder to all students and staff that the Library Learning Commons is closed today with the exception of nutrition break or classes that have booked the space. Please do not send students down during silent reading to get a book. 

 

The Colquitz Rainbow club will meet today at lunch in the Library
