Congratulations to the grade ⅞ boys rec team who won both games in the jamboree last night at home.  You dominated the court.

 

Thanks to our scorekeepers Cami, Talia, Lola Lielti and especially to Gurneet, Leni and Bri who stayed until 6:00 last night.

 

Garden club at lunch today. Meet Mr. Leblond in the Art Room before heading to the garden. 

 

Good luck to the rec 6/7 girls who play at home today.

Our scorekeepers tonight are Isla, Bri, Gurneet, Cami and Lielti.  If you can’t make it or know you are going to leave early, please let Mrs C know BEFORE the game. It is a later one again tonight as there are three games, finishing at 5:45.  If there is anyone else able to help score keep, come see Mrs C.  Schedules for what you have signed up for are outside her classroom.

 

Grade 7/8 Girls Rec basketball practice today at lunch in the gym.

Lead the change club today at lunch in the library.

Lead the change is collecting food bank items on Halloween night. If you want to help out people in need in your community, please consider bringing non-perishable food items to the boxes in front of the library on Friday, November 1.

 

Advisory classes: Please place your decorated pumpkin on the stairs in the foyer.  Pumpkins will be displayed on Wednesday and Thursday and will need to be collected and taken home on Thursday afternoon.  

 

Halloween costume contests on Thursday. There will be prizes for scariest costume, funniest costume best group costume from 3 to 7, best homemade costume, and best prop (no weapons). Meet at the roundabout at lunch if you want to participate in the costume parade. Student will be called to the round about after the eating time at 12:12/ 

 

Pyjama day on Friday, November 1

 

The yearbook cover design contest is open for ONE more week.  If you would like to submit a cover design, please ensure that your design is completed by November 4th.  Please check the posters around the school for contest requirements.  If you have already submitted a cover design, can you please come to Ms. Schuring’s room at nutrition break.  There are still two with no names attached to them.
