Rugby rugby rugby- please return your jerseys to Ms. Irving asap. Please do not return them to the office. Student names will start being called on the announcements if they are not returned by the end of the week. 

 

Official grade ⅞ boys basketball tryouts will be next week. Tuesday at lunchtime and Wednesday at 7am. All are welcome to try out! 

 

Soccer players, we will have our final jamboree next Tuesday after school don’t forget your cleats and shin pads!

X-country run on Tuesday lunch.  Our last Meet is next Wednesday at Juan de Fuca.  Please sign up on the athletic board in the foyer if you plan on racing that day and especially if you need a ride.

 

Ultimate season is over. Thanks for a great but short season. Please return your washed jerseys to Mr. Leblond in the Art Room as soon as possible as they are needed for other sports.

 

Garden club will meet again on Tuesday at lunch. Meet Mr. Leblond in the Art Room before heading out to the garden.

 

Mountain Bike Club is happening at Colquitz this year. If you have a mountain bike and want to develop your skills and ride the local trails, you should speak to Mr. Leblond, Ms. Spies or Ms. Dixon about how to join. No ride this Monday due to Thanksgiving. We will resume our rides the following week.

 

On Halloween night, lead the change club is collecting food bank donations. If you would like to participate, drop off non-perishable food items in front of the library on November 1st, or see Ms Irving for more information on the campaign.

 

Candy bags! Tuesday will be the FINAL Candy bags sale in support of Cops for Cancer. We are almost at our goal of $500 raised! Proceeds go to support those impacted by childhood cancer through donating to a Colquitz parent and Tour De Rock rider. Candy bags will be for sale for $2 on Tuesday in the main foyer at nutrition break and at lunch. Thank you for your support!  

 

Happy National Coming Out Day! Come join the Rainbow Parade today at lunch recess, meet in the foyer at the bell. Absolutely EVERYONE is welcome to join the parade, you do not have to be a member of the LGBTQ+ community. Coming to parade with us just means that you just support everyone’s right to be themselves!
