Leadership Club is hosting a costume contest today in the roundabout. If you would like to enter the contest, meet in the roundabout at 12:12pm (AFTER eating lunch). This will allow enough time for participants to get their costume ready and the judges to be in place. Students will parade around the roundabout until the music stops. There will be prizes for the best group of 3 to 7, scariest, funniest, best prop, and best homemade costume. If you are not participating but would like to watch, we ask that non-participants stand on the sidewalk area outside of the roundabout. If it is raining, we may need to move this event inside. Please listen carefully to the announcements so you know the location. Staff, if you want to come and help judge the costume contest, please meet us at the roundabout or in the gym a few minutes before 12:12. There will also be a prize for best staff costume.
If there are any staff that are able to help judge, please come join us!
The pumpkin display looks amazing! Thank you to all the classes who participated! Please make sure that your pumpkin is picked up and taken home or disposed of at the end of the day so it doesn’t rot in the school over the weekend.
Staff – please meet in the foyer at Nutrition Break for a staff Hallowe’en costume photo! Come as quick as you can!
The Kindness Shop will be open on Friday October 30th (tomorrow/today) from 10:18am to 1:02pm (Nutrition Break to end of Silent Reading). Anyone with kindness bucks to spend is invited to come to the shop!
Attention all students: Please be very careful walking through the halls around boards with student artwork. It is part of being kind, respectful and safe to make sure we’re not harming other people’s hard work!
