WELCOME BACK, EVERYONE!!!
Sports:
-All grade 8 boys interested in playing for Colquitz grade 8 basketball team have a meeting after school today with coach Jesse and Mr Howse.
-meeting in the gym at lunch Thursday for anyone interested in grade 6, 7 or 8 who would like to give x-country a try! We will begin our practices next week.
This is a friendly reminder that Trivia Tuesday will return next week! For those who are new to the school, please listen carefully to these instructions:

- Each Tuesday morning Ms. Mackenzie (that’s me) will read a trivia question on a specific topic. One question for students and another question for teachers. This means you need to be listening to the announcements!
- Answers can be written on trivia ballots that will be put in staff mailboxes later this week. No googling answers!
- Include your name and division number and to write NEATLY!
- Students will write their answers on the WHITE ballot.
- Staff will write their answers on the COLOURED slip of paper.
- All ballots must be submitted by 3pm on Tuesday.
- Winners will be 3 students and 1 staff each week who will be recognized in the announcements on Friday and will have a box of Smarties and a bookmark delivered to them after the announcements.

*Lunch: If you are in Grade 7 or 8 and are thinking of considering the Fall Play this year, come to the Drama room at lunch with your food and find out more! Audition forms will be available and you can find out more about the play itself as well as just reconnect with your fellow theatre folk!
*7:40 am tomorrow morning NO Jazz Band. We will start next week!
