The Big Pour!
Hello Colquitz Families,
As the sidewalk project in front of the school nears competition, Saanich is set to pour the section of concrete across our driveway. This will take place this Friday, January 20th. To allow for curing time, we will not be able to use the driveway from the start of Friday through to the end of Wednesday, January 25th.
For this time period we will ask all those in a vehicle to use the back parking lot of the school. It is at the end of Brunswick Street off Raymond Street. From there a walking path leads to the main school building. As Dumeresq Street will also have only limited access, we ask parents who are dropping off or picking up their children to do so in the back parking lot. Of course, this would also be a good few days for students to ride a bike or walk if they are able.
Thank you all for your continued patience around this project. We are nearing the end and will have a wonderful new sidewalk to show for it.
