Please bring in your Survival Socks donations by Monday February 5th to help out those in need in our community. We currently have a high need for long new or nearly new warm socks, toothbrushes and toothpaste, and granola bars, and many other items. There are lists of items we are hoping for posted around the school. Collection boxes are located on the work tables in each pod. 

Black History Month begins on Thursday.  If you are interested in being part of sharing ideas and planning activities events for the month, please come to a meeting on TODAY in Ms Schuring’s Room –  120 – AFTER you eat your lunch.  So, at the end of lunch eating and beginning of lunch recess.

Volleyball News:

  • Boys 6/7 practice at lunch today
  • Ms. Irving A ⅞ girls volleyball game at Victor Brodeur today. Meet by the office to confirm rides at the bell.
  • Mr. Brown’s girls volleyball team will have a mandatory meeting in room 109 at Nutrition break
  • Congratulations to the grade 6 triple ball players who did a fantastic job in their first jamboree! Winning against PCS and Victor Brodure. 
  • Mr. Brown’s B ⅞ girls volleyball game today at Colquitz.  Come cheer them on.
  • Girls ⅞ comp at Central today after school.  Good luck to all three teams!
  • Congratulations to the 6/7 girls comp team who played last night and won all sets!
  • Scorekeepers today are to head to the gym right after the bell today to help set up.
  • Important:  all ⅞ boys, meet in the gym for a jersey swap at NB.  If your jersey is here, then bring it. Please don’t make us hunt you down!

 

Fine Arts  Important tour announcement -If you didn’t show up yesterday at nut break, please come to the music room at nut break to fill out their buddy form! If you do not show, your buddy will be chosen for you.
